Passionate and convincing

Perhaps because I have a strong preference for English productions (which I love watching in the original language also in all its possible and colorful nuances) I approached this little series with strong expectations. Expectations that are increasingly confirmed episode after episode, thanks to a convincing story, a dense plot and excellent management.

I noticed that the reviews online don't give it many points, I honestly don't understand why: it is a well-conducted, well-acted series (the detective is fantastic), well-photographed and above all very exciting.

During the viewing, the more the plot thickens and the more I thought: let's hope they don't ruin everything with an absurd or banal ending, as sometimes happens with thriller series that aren't capable of closing the story coherently (in my opinion it's a fundamental requirement).

But this fear turns out to be unfounded: the tension remains very high until the end, and no final disappointment ruins the aftertaste of a series that I found truly enjoyable. It certainly won't go down in the history of the best TV series, but despite this, in my opinion, it really deserves a viewing.
