A talented young pianist must simultaneously face career auditions, emotional problems being left by her boyfriend, and a family that does little to take an active interest in her when she is forced to return home. We know that making a career as a musician is not easy. Courage is needed, here as for everyone in life when it is time to move forward. Saying that the film is a "comic gem" (as can be seen in some presentations) seems excessive: sure, you can see it, sometimes you smile and the short musical pieces are excellent, but the story is decidedly thin.
