Undoubtedly, great expectations have been created around this film in recent times, so much so as to convince director Frake-Waterfield to reshoot some scenes at the end of 2022. Two characters so strongly linked to childhood transformed into evil murderers, should be a guarantee of superfine murders, and in part, it is. However, and there is a big however, don't hold me against it, I have to admit, despite myself, that there are tons of flaws here. As a lover of slasher and gore, I wouldn't want to criticize a film which, for heaven's sake, contains a fair amount of splatter, the problem is, mmm, everything else that's wrong. When, at the time, I read the news announcing the release of Winnie The Pooh, I was extremely anxious, and even a little greedy, to view the final work. I waited impatiently, and it must be said that as far as I'm concerned, I'm not a very patient person. Finally, the wait wasn't rewarded much, because at first glance I thought: what is this bullshit? Let's start with the screenplay, which in my opinion should have been the strong point of the work, as it couldn't get anywhere else. We're not quite there, it's infinitely sad. I agree that in this kind of film you don't need much motivation to go on a rampage, but in my heart, I still had a strong hope that there was a bit more elaborate narration. Pooh and Pimpy, abandoned by their childhood friend, suffer from hunger, and having to become cannibals to survive, they go mad.
