This film, like others such as "The Goonies", "Back to the Future", is simply part of the "Timeless Perfect Films". Films WITHOUT defects. Films that were fabulous in the 80s are perfect today and will be legendary in 100 years. The Chocolate Factory (which has nothing to do with the mediocre version starring Jonny Deep), is that film to show to your grandson who is starting to grow up timidly approaching this ugly, dirty and bad world.
