Seen on Hodtv. Touching short that tells a drama that can never be defined as current today. Femicide, abuse in the home, victims of the worst evil. What presents itself with the face of love, (Sergio Mitrione), and instead, slowly turns into violence and pain. The filming is simple, polite, the direction decides to narrate the short story through the voice of the protagonist, a wife, a woman like many others (Elena Maraniello), with no name, with no hope other than that of getting out of a cage of rot and suffering. And precisely in the name of that faint hope, she seeks the solution, and advances, until the last, terrible revelation. A discovery that puts an end to fear, and to the attempt to free oneself from unwanted but imposed chains, and from a ferocity that had the mask of innocence. The soundtrack is very present, and acts as a frame with melodies always appropriate for each scene. It's a shame for the short duration, we could have explored a little more about a topic that, unfortunately, fills the magazines almost every day. These few minutes (about thirteen, including the credits) show how trust is violated with extreme ease, and how a feeling that should be the purest is transformed into a mocking and contemptuous contempt towards those who simply wanted to be loved. The most serious betrayal, because it was unexpected. Just recently, there was much discussion about a survey in which both women and fathers of girls for their daughters were asked who they would prefer to meet in the woods, between a man and a bear. .
