Action scenes directed very well, long-lasting shots alternate with tighter but always understandable moments. The protagonist is convincing and has the right charisma... we are on the John Wick side if you want, a former soldier is wronged and the other characters are killed they are functional to the context but I must say that I was expecting a more active role for the woman with the snake which in the end doesn't count for anything. In terms of aesthetics however it hasn't always convinced me, daytime sequences with very dull photography almost seem to mask a lack of means, especially inside what should be the royal palaces; even the slow-motion action sequence is not among the best in the choreographic department (which is of a good level). In essence, the film is good and with the action amuses and entertains. Read all

plot
