Simple and fun of

Despite being a video game enthusiast, I have never played much of the adventures of the legendary and very cute Super Mario (due to my limitations, I prefer different types of games). Even though I know the character and something about his history and the various types of games, I therefore do not belong to the endless group of fans who have been following the stories of the Italian plumber par excellence for decades now. It must also be said that films based on video games are almost always doomed to failure (the only one I would save from memory is the first Silent Hill), because they are completely different media. Super Mario games are particularly difficult to turn into stories, since they're essentially about making Mario jump from one platform to another. Yet I struggle to remember a recent film that entertained me so much. It is certainly a film with a simple and linear story designed above all for the little ones (I saw it with my three year old son and he had a lot of fun) and for video game fans (there are many "fan services", such as the kart races, the magic cubes and many other moments designed for enthusiasts), but this does not prevent the film from being enjoyable and fun for everyone, if obviously you are not looking for a "busy" animation masterpiece.
