Review of  Isabel Isabel
I was particularly struck by how The Rings of Power brought to life the grandeur of Númenor. The detailed world-building and intricate architecture really transported me to an ancient, opulent realm that felt both majestic and tragic. Additionally, I found the character development in the series quite engaging. Galadriel's journey di lei from a fierce warrior to a more nuanced figure added layers to her character di lei that I had n't anticipated. Her struggle with her own motivations and the burden of her quest was portrayed with a depth that made her even more compelling. The interplay between the new characters, like Halbrand and the mysterious Stranger, and the established lore created a fascinating narrative that kept me hooked. The way the show intertwines their personal stories with the larger mythological events of Middle-earth was a highlight for me, offering both fresh perspectives and nostalgic echoes of Tolkien's work. This is worth watching! Read all

It doesn't necessarily appeal to pure Tolkenians, but it has an interesting plot (even if too extended) and truly great scenes as well as an excellent cast. It wouldn't have disfigured the cinema (and that's no small comment) Read all

plot

Beginning in a time of relative peace, we follow an ensemble cast of characters as they confront the re-emergence of evil to Middle-earth. From the darkest depths of the Misty Mountains, to the majestic forests of Lindon, to the breathtaking island kingdom of Númenor, to the furthest reaches of the map, these kingdoms and characters will carve out legacies that live on long after they are gone.
