Review of  Emiliano Baglio Emiliano Baglio
The writer saw The Hunger Games: Catching Fire preview at the eighth edition of the Rome International Film Festival; in a room full of screaming and adoring girls, dressed as if it were an opera premiere. The more than justified acts of hysteria in front of the physical presence of the film's protagonists, Jennifer Lawrence (Katniss), Josh Hutcherson (Peeta) and Liam Hemsworth (Gale), which also involved the director Francis Lawrence, more or less accompanied the entire screening, with thunderous applause that accompanied the entrance on stage (in the film) of the three protagonists, as well as the kiss between Katniss and Peeta. Let's face it frankly, the first film, The Hunger Games, worked wonderfully even for those who didn't know even a single line of Suzanne Collins' books on which the film adaptation was based. Of course, there's nothing new under the sun, in the end it was a survival movie, with a group of kids who had to kill each other to survive, with Read all

plot

Katniss Everdeen has returned home safe after winning the 74th Annual Hunger Games along with fellow tribute Peeta Mellark. Winning means that they must turn around and leave their family and close friends, embarking on a "Victor's Tour" of the districts. Along the way Katniss senses that a rebellion is simmering, but the Capitol is still very much in control as President Snow prepares the 75th Annual Hunger Games (The Quarter Quell) - a competition that could change Panem forever.
