Una Poltrona Per Due

Winner of the Golden Lion in Venice in 1986, this film that I chased for decades turned out to be a bit of a disappointment. The green ray has a documentary flavor which, instead of being captivating, is repellent like its protagonist who, intentionally thrown into the stream of consciousness of improvisation, does not arouse empathy or identification and her yearning for ideal love becomes increasingly cloying. A film worthy of the nauseous then? I would not say. Definitely not worthy of a second viewing. Read all
