The Australian Greg McLean is not an inexperienced in the horror field: author of the two "Wolf Creek" and "The Darkness" but above all of this "The Belko Experiment" whose screenplay and production is the work of the famous James Gunn, ex of Troma and director of the three volumes of Guardians of the Galaxy. The film takes place entirely inside a building in Colombia, home to a large American company. The many employees who work in this structure every day become, suddenly and without any plausible reason, protagonists of a real massacre (Battle Royale style): the building is automatically armored from the outside (no one can leave, no one can enter ) and from this moment on a voice informs the employees that every half hour, every single employee must kill two colleagues under penalty of death... It must be said that the McLean-Gunn couple manages to make the spectator passionate about the fate of those unfortunates and we also have fun.
