The secret of the bees of

Romantic and touching film. In building a hive it is essential to know how to listen to the rhythm of life that flows: "If you pay attention, you can understand bees when they don't speak. It's the same for people", will say Dr. Jean Markham (Anna Paquin) to the two little colored eyes of the honey and full of amazement of Charlie, a ten-year-old boy, to whom he will show the hive he takes care of in the large house inherited from his father. The initial meeting, however, with Charlie's mother, Lydia ( Holliday Grainger), with whom, however, a very intense bond will later arise. The dance between the two protagonists reminded me a lot of the dance of bees, their search for harmony within the cosmos, their transversal competence in flying from flower to flower and then managing to diligently intertwine their own knowledge with that of others, simply observing each other, respecting times and interpreting glances. In the eyes of the two women, the desire to find their own harmony together in the hive of the world explodes in a second. There will be many obstacles and judging looks to face, but that love to be built day after day which, as Ivano Fossati sang, it is done so close to the sky it will be indispensable to not die, to return to life. Dr. Jean Markham returns to the town she left as a teenager to take over her late father's medical practice. When a school-yard scuffle lands Charlie in her surgery, she invites him to visit the hives in her garden and tell his secrets to the bees, as she once did. The new friendship between the boy and the bee keeper brings his mother Lydia into Jean's world.
