Italian title: All the love for Grace. Films for tireless romantics, who hope for love. She is very rich and wealthy, he is even a "bastard" without a surname, in the Hawaii of the 1920s. The islands were recently governed as a subjugated territory by the USA, following the end of their independence. Coffee was largely grown by Japanese, who were poorly paid and exploited. The splendid photography deserves a mention, which gives us beautiful images of a world far from ours but well reconstructed. The total contrast is highlighted (also for economic reasons, not only cultural) between the young girl's family and the poor boy, who is raised and educated by a generous doctor, who does not know Japanese and who for this reason also supports the orphan, born in fact an extreme situation of bilingualism. He will grow up more Western than Japanese, even in his physical features, but this does not mean he will have an easy life. In addition to sentimentality, if we want to find an advantage in the film it is that of telling us about a world about which we know almost nothing, in which it is not at all It's true that all the new arrivals from the USA were good. plot

An orphan boy of mixed race finds family with the newly arrived white village doctor in Hawaii. The boy can run like the wind, and begins bringing Doc's medicine to coffee pickers throughout the mountainous region. On an errand, the medicine runner meets the daughter of the plantation owner and a forbidden, young love blossoms like the white "Kona Snow" of the surrounding coffee trees.
