Seen today 06 23 2023 on Timvision which mistakenly classifies it "Horror Run" is a 2020 psychological thriller directed by Aneesh Chaganty. The film follows the story of a mother, Diane Sherman (played by Sarah Paulson), who raised her daughter, Chloe (played by Kiera Allen), isolated from the outside world due to a series of serious health problems. However, Chloe begins to suspect that her mother is hiding dark secrets and begins to investigate her true identity. "Run" is a film that focuses on the mother-daughter relationship and the emotional tension that develops between the two main characters. Sarah Paulson gives a convincing performance as the overprotective and manipulative mother, while Kiera Allen brings a touch of authenticity to her performance as Chloe, a young woman determined to discover the truth. Aneesh Chaganty's direction is solid and the pace of the film is well managed, with moments of suspense that keep the viewer in suspense. The narrative develops effectively, gradually revealing the dark secrets hidden behind the lives of Chloe and Diane. One of the film's strengths is the realistic portrayal of the challenges that people with disabilities face in everyday life.
