Pleasant but half successful of

A so-so action film with a few hints of comedy? An unfunny comedy with some action scenes? None of this? I don't know. Days later I still haven't understood what this film is. If it were a dish it would be a dish that would be tasty in theory but in practice a little bland and undercooked. In other words there are some good ideas, but they seem to be implemented in a somewhat rough and barely mentioned way. The film is about an art thief who ends up collaborating with a con artist (at least I think so, the somewhat confusing script and Emily Ratajkowski's not exactly Oscar-winning acting didn't allow me to understand if her character was a somewhat poor con artist, an actress who has ended up in trouble or a mix of everything) and even if I didn't expect spectacular scenes like Mission Impossible and a plan worthy of Ocean's Eleven, I didn't imagine that to steal a famous painting from a villa full of people during a party, it would basically be enough to remove it from the wall and take it away, just to give an example. All in all the film is not bad and the story could also be interesting, but there are parts of the screenplay that remain suspended without leading anywhere: for example the protagonist's brother is described as a sort of bipolar drug addict who spends time with prostitutes and one would logically expect all sorts of perversion and atrocity from him, but the maximum transgressiveness he will demonstrate will be walking around the house in his underwear and undershirt, putting whiskey in the thermos and chatting with some old men downstairs home.
