Mystery in Agatha Christie style which constructs a genre story therefore also functional to the context, with careful packaging but where Shimek's direction fails to have too much impact. People invited to an estate where however this time the civilian, understood as not being involved in the work Miranda, a flower girl, will act as a detective to solve the mystery, the crime that will happen. The direction is rather standard, it seems television, it shows no personality, there are well-constructed shots that every now and then have their eye-catcher, especially in the interiors when photography plays with contrasts between blue and yellow; but overall it is a fairly anonymous direction. The reactions of the characters are sometimes poorly managed, there are some slightly extemporaneous lines that could also have been cut. Ok, giving Miranda strength but it is difficult to understand why everyone gives it this authority, yes ok, shows great ability in investigating and therefore contextualising, one can also accept his factual accusations and therefore his jokes about who he would send to prison do not have such impact or strength because he would not have the faculties. However, the film manages to create the dynamics of a detective story where everyone is a suspect and this is still an advantage, that is, it is the basis of these films but not all of them do it, the characters accuse each other even if the same here the dialogues and the same accusations are not so brilliant.
