A beautiful way to conclude a saga that has made history, a true cult and personally, one of the most loved ones since I was a child! Indy will always remain in my heart, a strong, adventurous man, with a unique sense of humor, who took us with him on adventures bordering on the absurd but of spectacular beauty!! This last chapter, I must say, works much more than the fourth, which personally didn't convince me much, but here you win! Excellent chemistry between H.Ford and P. Waller Bridge, absurd but convincing story 🤣 breathtaking action scenes! We will miss you Indy, but you left us images that we will never tire of seeing again and again! Read all
Old Man Indy rules! of  Il Bollalmanacco - Babol Il Bollalmanacco - Babol
An adorable homage to what has been and (perhaps) will no longer be, which also tries, in some way, to maintain its own personality. Old man Indy is certainly more bitter and less fit than in the past but, thanks also to the good chemistry with the new co-protagonist, he is always a fantastic character, a true icon of our time! After “The Last Crusade” the saga and myth of Indiana Jones rise to the Empyrean. The character now has nothing left to say as she has gone beyond the limits of popularity and success, she has become an icon of modern customs and as such she will always be revered by audiences all over the world. Few know, however, that, in parallel with the masterpiece film with Sean Connery, Lucas wrote a new adventure (this time with the Russians as enemies) but everything did not turn into the filming of a new film because Spielberg did not approve the screenplay (of the "type If you want to produce it, find another director). the so-called "majors") found themselves short of ideas and therefore began a flourishing of bringing back into vogue certain films and/or sagas that had been very successful in the past. The Indy saga certainly could not be unaffected by this phenomenon and so after about twenty years a new adventure "The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull" was released which was based on Lucas' old screenplay which, however, was modified to make it more appealing to Spielberg (at the time it was inconceivable to entrust an Indy adventure to a director other than Steven) and to Harrison Ford. The new adventure has an obvious commercial success (imagine what it meant for the public to find the hat and the whip on the great screen after twenty years) but the plot, in fact, rather disappoints the true admirers of the adventurous archaeologist. It is no coincidence that, despite the economic success, Lucas and Spielberg decide to put a tombstone on the saga: Ford has aged and determined scenes cannot be believable if they are shot by Read all

plot

Finding himself in a new era, and approaching retirement, Indy wrestles with fitting into a world that seems to have outgrown him. But as the tentacles of an all-too-familiar evil return in the form of an old rival, Indy must don his hat and pick up his whip once more to make sure an ancient and powerful artifact doesn't fall into the wrong hands.
