26 Medfilm Festival Issa (Salim Daw), 60 years old, suddenly decides to get married and falls in love with Sihan (Hiam Abbass), a widow who lives with her divorced daughter with whom she has a conflicting relationship and who works as a seamstress in a shop near the market .Issa is a somewhat philosophical fisherman, his main occupation seems to be long chats with a friend who runs a drug store/perfume shop and who is planning to emigrate illegally to Europe.The Nasser Brothers bet everything on this character for whom it is impossible don't get attached since, when faced with love, he seems like a shy and clumsy teenager just starting out. To further complicate things, his sister also gets involved, determined to find the right wife for Issa and above all the discovery of a ancient statue of the God Apollo. It will be precisely this find that causes an endless series of troubles for our hero who will have to deal with the corruption of the Palestinian police. Gaza, mon amour is a delicious daring comedy that narrates, between delicacy and clumsiness, love in old age and which ends leaving a smile of joy on the viewer. Gaza, today. Sixty-year-old fisherman Issa is secretly in love with Siham, a woman who works at the market with her daughter Leila. When he discovers an ancient phallic statue of Apollo in his fishing nets, Issa hides it, not knowing what to do with this mysterious and potent treasure. Yet deep inside, he feels that this discovery will change his life forever. Strangely, his confidence starts to grow and eventually he decides to approach Siham.
