I know well that the score I gave is high compared to the critical and public success the film had. There are two reasons for my opinion. The first is that it is a film a little different from the usual ones, even if it is the sequel to a series of similar films that focus on other cities (Paris, je t'aime / New York, I Love You / Rio, Eu Te Amo): the stories, although different and light-hearted, some more in-depth and others less, are nevertheless original, presented in a whimsical and interesting way, and are well set. There is not a single type of love, there are instead different feelings, from the search for the family past to the search for oneself through comparison with others. Even a brief encounter can leave a trace in life. The second reason for my opinion is precisely the backdrop of the city. This is not a tourist promotion, more than once it is difficult to understand where the scenes are filmed even for those who, like the writer, know the city very well and have followed the changes before and after the fall of the wall. The spirit of the city is certainly multicolored and varied, capable of welcoming even more than what and how much is expected, even when the sky, as is appropriate, is often overcast and grey.
