Felix has decided to surprise Alma, the girl he fell in love with after just one night spent together. He decides to bring his friend Chérif with him; The two will be joined against their will by Eduard, the unaware driver who has placed an advert to share the journey and who is expecting two girls. And so here they are, our three heroes arrive in the placid French countryside, among splendid mountains, rivers where they can swim and do canyoning, picturesque cafés overlooking splendid views and karaoke at the campsite bar. The placid French countryside with its small humanity. Only French cinema has the rare ability to construct almost impalpable films, built around little or nothing. We would not like to bother names illustrious but, inevitably, Rohmer from The Green Ray, My Friend's Friend or One Boy, Three Girls comes to mind; the same incredible lightness that could be mistaken for inconsistency and instead has the same pleasantness as the wind that Felix and Eduard savor when they reach the top of a mountain. The same taste of lazy days spent sipping a coffee on the street bar, illuminated by the sun. Suspended moments, just a week, before returning to Paris to the usual life. Three characters who couldn't be more different. First of all, because Felix and Chérif are black and Eduard is white. Then they are workers from the lower middle class, he is a mama's boy who never grew up, accustomed (probably) to comfort.
