I recently watched this film on Prime Video, and while there's a lot to enjoy, it feels like something is missing. The storyline had tons of potential but needed more focus on the broader backstory instead of just the character subplots. More details on the voyage's purpose and who the pilot worked for would have added depth. That said, the plot does keep you engaged from start to finish, though it could have been better. The acting and chemistry between Driver and Greenblatt were spot on. The special effects were top-notch, rivaling the quality of the Jurassic Park movies. The action scenes were intense, with some great jump scares throughout. The settings and cinematography were impressive, the CGI was exceptional, and the wounds were gory and realistic. The ending was predictable but still entertaining. It's a solid addition to the sci-fi action genre. I'd give it a 7/10 and recommend watching it only once. Read all

“65: Escape from Earth” is a film that manages to combine adrenaline-pumping action and a profound exploration of human bonds. Directed by Scott Beck and Bryan Woods, the film follows the story of Mills, a space pilot played by Adam Driver, who finds himself stranded on prehistoric Earth after an accident. In this context, Mills meets Koa, a young girl who becomes his companion in adventures. One of the most fascinating qualities of the film is the construction of the relationship between Mills and Koa. Their interaction is the beating heart of the story, offering moments of vulnerability and authentic connection. Mills, initially a man marked by pain and loneliness, finds in Koa a source of hope and motivation. The young woman, played by Ariana Greenblatt, represents innocence and resilience, bringing emotional balance to an otherwise unforgiving world. The dynamic between the two characters is beautifully developed; while they initially find themselves in an emergency situation, their bond evolves into a sort of partnership, where they both support each other. The scenes in which they share stories and moments of tenderness are among the most touching in the film, demonstrating that even in the most extreme contexts humanity can prevail. Visually, "65" is an excellent film. The special effects and the representation of the prehistoric world are of high quality, making the threats posed by dinosaurs and natural dangers credible. Each action sequence is well choreographed, keeping the tension high and involving the viewer. To conclude, this work is more than a simple science fiction film; it's a story of connections, survival and self-rediscovery. The relationship between Mills and Koa is at the heart of the narrative, bringing a human warmth to an otherwise hostile context. With a gripping plot, excellent visual effects and deep character characterization, the film succeeds Read all
