Review of  Marina Ricci Marina Ricci
"5 Flights Up" is a touching film that truly struck a chord with me. Featuring Diane Keaton and Morgan Freeman, it delves into the challenges of aging and city life as a long-married couple contemplates moving from their cherished Brooklyn home. The film captures everyday life beautifully, blending humor with relatable moments. Keaton and Freeman deliver genuine performances that reflect their characters' struggles and triumphs. While the pacing may be slow for some, it allows for meaningful character development and reflection on themes of change and nostalgia. Overall, "5 Flights Up" is a touching reminder of the importance of home and love—perfect for a cozy evening in! Read all
Review of  Ignazio Venzano Ignazio Venzano
The film is supported by the two main actors, Morgan Freeman and Diane Keaton, who in a certain sense play two elderly people tired of having to walk up five floors of stairs to enter their own home. The house is worth a lot for the neighborhood where it is, so there is space to see if there are alternatives. The search for a new accommodation proceeds a little differently than it would in Italy, not only because we are in New York but perhaps also due to the needs of the story. The story is light, a little funny (thanks to the two actors), but nothing can be taken too seriously. Read all
