I finished the Baby Reindeer series. I read enthusiastic comments around and one possible answer is that since there aren't many valid products lately we tend to overestimate them, or another answer could be that we are now "mediocrised" in our judgment.
Mind you, it's an interesting series, which speaks of stalking, abuse and sexual violence and is based on a true story, I will certainly add it to the list of the best series of 2024, but it is certainly not at the top.
The performance of the actress is saved who " stolkerizes" which at times recalls Katy Bates in "misery" and the screenplay because it tells something true and tells it well.
However, in my opinion, good direction is missing, a good soundtrack is missing, the scenography and the photography and also the editing are not the best.
Having said that, as I was saying, it is still a product that I recommend and that I add to the list of the best of 2024 but without excessive enthusiasm.
