Valid female slasher

Sissy, a romantic name that must not however give rise to misunderstandings. Here we are talking about an all-female horror film, and for this reason alone, we like it.
The film directed by Hannah Barlow and Kane Senes, tells a contemporary, particular story, with a slow take-off but full of tense and interesting. The protagonist is an influencer, a highly coveted job in recent years.

Cecilia, called Sissy as a child, makes a living thanks to the content of her videos, and the large number of followers that give her they adore, and she is ready to dispense advice, honey and love for them. With her inevitable meeting with her childhood best friend, she will begin to reveal something dormant, ready to forcefully return to the fore during a reunion in which Emma will push her to take part.

False smiles, veiled prodding, the atmosphere heats up with giggles and barbs. A fatal spiral envelops everything and scratches everything with hungry evil, thirst for revenge, never fully calmed, black as gall, dangerous as putrid poison. The company isn't the best, and soon there are numerous disagreements.

At first glance, Sissy may seem like the intended target, but beware, an error of judgment is upon us. What she seems is not always what she really is, the thin line that separates the wolf from the lamb can be easily overcome, and this is precisely the beauty of it.

Holding back anger is not always easy, one gesture too many is enough, a resentment that violently comes back to the surface, to make one lose the right path. Trying to defend one's status becomes necessary, beyond all limits, beyond any hesitation: everything must be erased, and every sin, hidden and buried.

The mechanism has now been triggered. A mind adrift can do nothing but reason, searching for a solution which, obviously, struggles to appear, leaving only dark shadows, which lead to the inevitable epilogue.

Fantastic performance by Aisha Dee, who in the role of Sissy gives life to a villain who leaves her mark, and teaches that the traumas of the most beautiful and delicate age can sometimes seem erased, but just a second is enough to trigger the flame again, to scream out loud: no! You have not been forgotten!
