In the crazy game of life, it's never really over

The calm, joyful in the serenity of a robin singing of his freedom. So longed for and so sought after.

The thirst for power, destruction in the hunt for designated prey. Like the wings that spread in flight, like the imposing eagle framed at the beginning of this short, ready to tell us its symbolism in a brief moment of supremacy.

A boy, trapped, lost in a desperate situation, he is looking for that lost but longed-for freedom. Clinging to those handcuffs, he is desperate to find a way out, any opportunity to save himself from that horrid situation.

Frightened eyes but nerves of steel, a fleeting hope paints the opportunity to get out of that big trouble. All that remains is to grab it and try to escape, amidst gunshots, breathless runs, and a briefcase with a suspicious content, never actually revealed.

< br />Nico is a petty thief, traveling in a police car. He certainly wouldn't have suspected he would end up in the clutches of justice, much less would he have imagined finding himself between the classic good cop, Ștefănescu (Eugen Neagu), and bad cop.

One of the two agents has spotted the contents of the trafficker's briefcase, entrusted to him by the boss Don Vitaliano (Antonio Tentori), and is willing to anything to get hold of it. David White is decidedly unpleasant and irritating in the role of Jack, rooting for Nico is inevitable.

A laugh, and a scream does not completely reveal the truth to us, leaving any supposition to our imagination. Personally, I always tend to see the glass as half empty, therefore, I told myself that perhaps life is a bit of a joker, and sometimes, it enjoys putting anyone in dangerous situations, then leaving them with a handful of flies in their hands. However, it is my personal interpretation, which cannot be confirmed or denied.

Eugen Neagu tells us about this race towards salvation and a new beginning with a decisive direction with excellent management of the rhythms and good camera movements. He chose some locations such as the Cervelletta park and the Chia waterfall park. Impeccable effects by the master Sergio Stivaletti.

Michelangelo Stivaletti convinces in the role of a man now desperate, suffering, wounded and hunted. His fear emerges with every breath, with every terrified look, with every move aimed at leading him out of the nightmare.

< 1>Fighting for survival, smart enough to go all out, even if, in the heat of the moment, he can't count correctly, but that doesn't mean it's the end. Even when all seems lost, the incredible can happen, ready to draw what the restless fear did not dare to hope for.
