You know what, I'm shocked by the low ratings for this beautiful, lifelong romance. The screenplay is brilliant, but maybe some didn't appreciate its real-life inspiration.
The story of forbidden love and conformity is timeless, and the cast, both young and older, excel in this love triangle. While not common, such narratives were prevalent in the past, and it's surprising to see this film rated lower than others that are less worthy.
This film isn't for the bigoted or squeamish , but it's worth watching!!
