After "Lunana", Dorji tells another tale about the meeting/clash between modernity, here personified by an arms dealer, and Bhutanese tradition, this time less immaculate and already affected by globalisation. The criticism of Western materialism is scathing and entertaining (especially in the concept of trade) and the rifle becomes the symbol of the different values โ€‹โ€‹of the two cultures: for one a source of material wealth thanks to possession, for the other a source of spiritual wealth thanks to deprivation .
